Randall Jahnson will be leading a workshop entitled “It Depends on Your Point of View: Effective Uses of POV in Screenwriting” at the 2012 Willamette Writers Conference in the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Portland, Oregon.
Jahnson will discuss how making the right POV choices can transform a mediocre plot into compelling drama. Citing examples from “Rear Window,” “A Beautiful Mind,” and “Chronicle,” he will show how a limited or altered POV can create unforgettable cinematic experiences.
The POV workshop will held at 8:30 a.m. Friday, August 3rd.
Jahnson will also participate in the Sunday afternoon panel discussion, “Short Film: Why It’s Hot.”
